Warranty Policy
Last updated: November 2, 2026. Fazal & Son Inc. serves Kitchener, Ontario and surrounding communities within about 50 km. This policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario.
Workmanship warranty
Fazal & Son Inc. warrants its workmanship on completed renovation, basement finishing and landscaping projects for one (1) year from the date of completion, unless your written contract states a different period. If a defect in our workmanship appears during this period, we will repair it at no charge to you.
Materials
Manufacturer warranties on products and materials (such as windows, flooring, fixtures and artificial grass) are passed on to you. Claims for manufacturer defects are handled under the manufacturer's terms, and we will help you submit them.
What is not covered
- Normal wear and tear, fading, or natural settling of soil, sod and interlocking stone.
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, lack of maintenance, flooding, ice, or changes made by others.
- Work by other contractors or materials supplied by the owner.
- Cosmetic changes such as hairline shrinkage cracks in concrete or drywall that are normal for the material.
- Sod or plants that are not watered and cared for according to our instructions.
How to make a claim
Contact us by phone or email with your name, address, a description of the problem and photos if possible. We will respond within a reasonable time, inspect the issue and arrange repairs. Emergency problems, such as an active water leak, should be reported immediately.
Your legal rights
This warranty is in addition to, and does not reduce, any rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law and other applicable legislation.
